seattle: part 4

 

within a few hours we were at the coast.

 

 

we chose to do rialto beach's hole-in-the-wall because of the stellar

reviews this beach has received.  

 

 

 as named - the hole in the wall.

this was the view on the other side of the eye. 

we didn't venture further because the tide was rising.

 

a 30 mile drive south we park our car at the beginning of a trailhead leading to another beach, second beach, which was also well reviewed we preferred it.

 



 it is crazy that after walking through a mile of forest you can descend a cliff

and drop down onto a beach that looks like this:

 

 

 

 

we found a campside nearby just before sunset.

mora campgrounds. they may have been our favorite of the trip.
