taking saving money to the next level

to save money, kyle and i haven't belonged to a gym for the past three years.  but recently a local fitness center offered a one-time sale we couldn't resist. 10 days for $10 dollars.
probably to lure customers into signing up for a membership.

kyle allotted plenty of time for our first visit because he wanted to take advantage of everything - to get his money's worth, of course. it's kinda like visiting a buffet, except it is supposed to have the opposite effect on the waistline.  anyway, i was cycling away on some machine when he approaches and says he is going to go use the hot tub and take a shower.
he has a smile on his face that means he thinks he is at some expensive resort.

he was shocked i wasn't going to utilize the shower facility as well.  i guess guys just don't understand girls need more than just the clothes on their back to take a shower. :)
you know, things like clean clothes.

well, he came out smelling fresh and content with all the freebies he'd used;
shampoo, conditioner, body wash, aftershave, lotion, hairspray.

our next trip to the gym was exactly the same except as kyle exited the locker room he had a funny look on his face and whispered, "do you remember that hairspray i said i used last time?"
"yeah."
"well, i just saw a guy spray it in his armpits."

so if you'd like to save some money, it seems the products are basically interchangeable
try using hairspray in your armpits or a little deodorant on your hair.

we didn't discuss the true purpose of this mystery product.
why does someone have to be right and the other wrong?

well, except that someone has deodorant in their hair and the other, sticky armpits.

ha! :) oh my goodness. you are so good at painting pictures with words. i could just picture the look on kyle's face when he told you he was going to the hot tub then shower. i miss you, friend.
