so little by little i've noticed my perspective on life changing. things didn't seem as clear as they used to be. somehow, viewing the world from a distance had become a little hazy.
i talked to kyle about it and he didn't see things the same way. . . .
then a vision test for nursing school determined i need glasses.
at first, i was perplexed . . . and made strange faces when wearing them.
then, sad. about the way they sit on my face, inhibit my movement, put pressure on my nose, the way they look on me . . . during this stage i would have made a pretty good librarian.
but when i actually gave them a chance i was in awe. the crispness of everything.
leaves, signs, cars, grass, movies
everything that had slowly blurred was now clear and somehow more colorful!
and that gives me a reason to smile.
plus, it is kinda crazy that simply looking through a piece of glass makes such a
difference in my eyesight and brings clarity to the world.
