just call me bill

kyle was itching to get in a good game of disc golf, having just received a new disc from jeremy for his birthday.  once he'd agreed to feed the ducks at the lake afterward, we were headed to the course. kyle likes "to keep things interesting" so gave me an extra stroke per hole in addition to the three redos for which i'd bargained.

luck must have been on my side because i was smoking him and this typically isn't the case. with only a few holes to go i missed a putt i knew i could have made. i typically save my redos for tee off, (is that the appropriate term for disc golf?) but asked what i would be up if i'd made the put. i decided to use a redo and sunk it. kyle laughed and called me bill belichick. i'm not sure, but i'm guessing the new england coach likes to run up the score no matter how far he is ahead. :)  i ended up plus 10, and although kyle technically won, we both walked away happy. next time i only get 1/2 a stroke extra per hole, so the outcome will not be so good.
